Diary 2006
The Cobweb Boscastle. Cornwall Folk Festival. Swanage Folk Festival. Solstice at The Rising Sun.
This is our home village and the pub is just across the road from the practice hall. So guess where we end up on Tuesday nights. A fitting start to our first dancing season.

We teamed up with Beltane for this one and enjoyed the company.
Thanks to them for some of our
repertoire.
The Weary Friar. Pillaton. Cornwall.
A fine pub and a good place to eat. We danced in the road and car drivers stopped to watch. We had a small appreciative crowd.
Our first time away as a side. And the first time we had our kit together (well nearly). A thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
Upton was alive with dancers and we especially enjoyed the final procession.
Our processing dance worked and the ending by the river was memorable
Cat's Eye were honoured to be invited to dance for the Lord Mayor's 'Cornwall comes to London' event in Leadenhall Market in June.
We were joined by Pheonix Morris from Rickmansworth, who looked after us.
And we were also honoured to dance for Prince Charles and Camilla and then attend a champagne reception at the Mansion House.
A picturesque location and good crowds. Saturday was a gruelling day.
Lots of dancing, well into the evening; hot sun and steep hills (one hill actually, oft climbed).
We all loved this weekend.
The Cross House. Metherell. Cornwall
Lovely big country pub with a huge garden. Plenty car parking. Food and well-
We were invited out by our friends Cogs and Wheels (a wonderful women's side, not to be missed!) on their day around Dartmoor.
We had a super day, dancing at Chagford, Bovey Tracey and Widdecombe.
Dancing, pasties, cream teas and a meal in the evening.............what a way to go!
We thought a practise would be a good idea so off we all went to Boscastle and danced for the fun of it. Philip then hosted a barbeque at his home which was a wonderful evening
Cornwall Folk Festival. Wadebridge
Our home festival we danced on Sunday and Monday and the weather defied the met office and stayed sunny and dry, and apart from a brisk wind was lovely.
We performed really well. We are going from strength to strength.
We finished our first dance season for what for many of our dancers has become an annual pilgrimage.
Although not a full side due to injuries we still managed to dance superbly and keep up the standard we aspired to at the beginning.
We will now retire to the practice hall are prepare for another stunning season.
Leadenhall Market was a great success and The Lord Mayor was very grateful to us for our participation.
